Launching the Playstation 4

Rumors say Nintendo is preparing to launch a successor to their Wii game console, Wii U in the next year. With this Sony apparently does not want to wait long to release a successor to their PlayStation 3 game consoles. Eurogamer reported at an event in London this week in order to promote the emergence of portable game consoles PS Vita, head of the European PlayStation Jim Ryan says: I think we do not want to be significantly slower than the competitors. But there are still some unfinished business PS3.


Apparently this means that Sony will continue to provide support for the PS3 though his successor has been out. Same as when Sony supports PS1 and PS2 when the console was released afterwards. Sony launched the PS3 in 2006 after Microsoft released the Xbox 360. Although more than a year late, but Sony Europe to remain competitive in the United States despite the superior Xbox sales.
